Bill Haselman

Bill Haselman, the 2006 Red Sox 1st base coach, is a former Major League catcher who played for the Red Sox from 1995 to 1997, and again for a brief stint in 2003. Bill also spent time with Texas (1990, 1998, 2000-2002), Seattle (1992-1994), and Detroit (1999).

Overall Career
During his Red Sox career, he appeared in 212 games, accumulating 604 at bats and hitting .252 with 19 home runs. Haselman was part of the 1995 division championship team that was swept in the playoffs by the Cleveland Indians. He retired after playing in 4 games for the Red Sox in 2003.
