Scouting Report
- Football commit to Auburn, has historically focused his future on football rather than baseball. Powerful bat with big time home run potential. Big body. Raw offensive game. Quick acceleration, speed is above average, but his sixty times have been less than you'd expect from a running back. Below average arm. Likely a LF or 1B in the pros. ~ SoxProspects.com
- A tailback in a fullback's body, Jacobs has the rare combination of wiggle and brute strength. He hits the hole hard, low and fast and always has his head up, which allows him to see late-developing cutback lanes and creases. Difficult to tackle even with a good fit and has excellent lower-body strength. Has really soft hands for what is essentially a big man and is dangerous on the perimeter, but still needs home-run gear ~ Scout.com Football Report
