Overall Career
Clifford Francis Brady was born on March 6, 1897, in St. Louis, Missouri. Brady was 23 years old when he broke into the big leagues on August 8, 1920, with the Boston Red Sox.
Brady's only year in the majors was in 1920 with the Red Sox as a second baseman. In 53 games he batted .228 with 0 HR and 12 RBI. Brady spent 14 years in the minors, playing for Tulsa, Pittsfield, Jersey City, Rochester, Seattle, Minneaspolis and Chattanooga. He managed Peoria, Harrisburg, and Springfield, Ill.

- In the winter, Brady played soccer in his native St. Louis and was a member of Scullin team, which won the national professional title in 1922.
