John Truman Wasdin (born August 5, 1972 in Fort Belvoir, Virginia) won seven straight decisions in relief in 1999 between May 10 and June 21.

On April 7, 2003, Wasdin tossed the first perfect game in the Nashvile Sounds' 26 year history, in a 4-0 victory against the Albuquerque Isotopes in front of 1,946 fans.

Nicknamed Way Back Wasdin and the Blair Wasdin Project (from Bill Simmons) due to his proclivity in giving up home runs. The latter nickname is the basis for The Blair Wasdin Project message board's name.
