Jorge Rafael Posada Jr. was born on August 17, 1971 in Santurce, PR. As young child, he often got reduced periods of time out by saying his yet unborn son would have surgery in the future. Jorge also took to peeing on his hands at a young age. In his own defense he would scream "I am trying to toughen them up. It is bad enough I look like a rat, I don't want have soft hands."
