Lew Ford

Lew Ford, a current DH/fourth outfielder for the Minnesota Twins, was drafted by the Boston Red Sox in the 12th round in 1999. He never played a game for the Sox, however, as they traded him to Minnesota in 2000 for Hector Carrasco. He bats and throws right.
Overall Career
After being traded by the Sox to Minnesota in September of 2000, Ford made his way up through the minors before making his major league debut in 2003. In March of 2005, and again the following year, the Twins signed Ford to a one-year deal. His most impressive year to date came in 2004, when he appeared in 154 games for the Twins, hitting .299.
Trivia
- Ford thought Twins fans were booing him when they were, in fact, chanting his name. This is the same guy who scored a 1400 on the SATs.
- Attemped to iron a shirt in the Twins clubhouse - while wearing it. Again, this guy scored a 1400 on the SATs.
