  • Saturday, June 21st, 1997. Detroit: Capping off a 15–4 drubbing by the Tigers, Mike Benjamin pitches the 9th inning for the Red Sox. He retires all three batters he faces and is the only Red Sox pitcher not to allow a baserunner.
