Robert Michael Stanley (born June 25, 1963 in Fort Lauderdale, FL), played a total of 15 years in the major leagues, three of which he compiled over 20 homeruns. Stanley played for the Red Sox on two seperate occassion from 1996 to 2000, and also spent time with the Texas Rangers, NY Yankees, Toronto Blue Jays, Oakland Athletics. Stanley was a bench coach with the Red Sox in 2002, and resigned to spend time with his family.
