The MFY, a.k.a. the Stankees, a.k.a. the Skankees, a.k.a. several other unflattering names, legally known as the New York Yankees, are some baseball club that plays by a brackish cesspool known as the Harlem River. They are known for having the lowest return-on-investment in Major League Baseball over the past six seasons, probably due to a lack of True Yankees. Have some of the best fans in baseball, Red Sox fans have Red Sox Nation, Yankee fans have Yankee Nation

Fans
Know to be the most violent in Major League Baseball. In one famous incident when the Angels met the New York Yankees in a game in August 1986, a fan from the upper deck threw a knife at Joyner. Joyner was grazed on the left arm by the butt end of the weapon, escaping injury. Said Joyner: "I picked it up and gave it to [Angels' manager] Gene Mauch."
Remembered for throwing C size batteries at the Red Sox outfielders in the 1970's.
