NYY Fans, also known as MFY Fans, is a major Yankees discussion board. As such it is a term of derision on Sons of Sam Horn. The epithet "Belongs on NYY Fans" may be applied when a post is overly fanboyish or insipid. A rejection of a Miguel Cairo for Miguel Cabrera and Dontrelle Willis trade on the grounds of Cairo's superiority would be considered an opinion that "Belongs on NYY Fans"

"I have a good feeling about RJ's start tonight!!!11" is a common thread title on NYY Fans. Usually about five pages fill up with people agreeing, mainly because of totally arbitrary feelings. Then, as the game goes on, posts containing phrases like "shit, not again" and "oh no!" follow. Then twenty pages follow about how he's losing it, is old, is pitching injured -- but will get it back for his next start. If a Yankee has two or more consecutive poor outings, the groupthink solution invariably requires the underperformer receive a stern lecture from Mariano Rivera or Derek Jeter in the importance of performing like a True Yankee.
