Peripheral ERA -- A pitcher's expected Earned Run Average based on his park-adhusted hits (EqH9), walks (EqBB9), strikeouts (EqK9) and home runs allowed (EqHR9). PERA is considered to be a better predictor than traditional ERA, since it is less prone to random affects.
