• The longest streak of losses was 5, from 1924-1928 and 1930-1934.

• In their seven championship seasons, the Red Sox won on Home Opening Day 6 times, with the only loss occurring in 2004.

• After playing their first 10 games on the road, the home opener in 2003 was rained out twice before finally being played on April 12th.
