Ronald Bernard Klimkowski was signed by the Boston Sox in 1964. He pitched in the majors for four seasons with the New York Yankees and Oakland Athletics.

Overall Career
Before 1964 Season, Klimkowski was signed by the Boston Red Sox as an amateur free agent. He pitched in the Sox system for two years until the Red Sox sent him to the New York Yankees to complete an earlier deal made on August 3, 1967, in which the Sox traded Pete Magrini and a player to be named later for Elston Howard. Klimkowski completed the trade. He appeared in three games in 1969 with no record, and 45 games in 1970, going 6-7 with a 2.65 ERA.
On April 9, 1971 the Yankees traded Klimkowski and Rob Gardner to the Oakland Athletics for Felipe Alou. In the bullpen in 1971, he appeared in 26 games, going 2-2 with a 3.38 ERA. The Athletics released him the next year and he resigned with the Yankees. He appeared in 16 games in 1972, going 0-3 with a 4.02 ERA.
