Tina Cervasio

Tina Cervasio joined the NESN Red Sox broadcast team in 2006 and spend a two-year stint with the network as a field reporter and host of the pre-game and post-game shows. She was nominated for a New England Sports Emmy in 2006.Originally from Nutley, New Jersey, Cervasio earned a B.A. degree in journalism and a minor in Spanish from the University of Maryland, graduating in 1996. Tina's lifelong interest in sportscasting dates to a trip her family made to the Rose Bowl game when she was eleven years old. At Maryland she worked at the campus radio station WMUC and anchored a sports program Terrapin Time Out on the university's television station. She also served as a manager for the women's varsity soccer team.
Following her graduation, Cervasio did TV work for NFL Sunday Ticket, Animal Planet, ESPN2, FSN New York, Sunshine Network, Time-Warner New York, and YES Network. She also hosted The New Jersey Fishing Show on CN8 (Comcast). Her radio experience included updates on WFAN in New York, sideline reporting for the NFL on Sports USA Radio, and substitute sports anchoring on the Imus in the Morning program on MSNBC and WFAN.
Before joining NESN, Tina was the weekend sports anchor for WCBS-TV in New York. Cervasio also worked for CBS as an associate producer at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan. She also covered the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece, and the 2006 Winter Olympics in Torino, Italy, for Westwood One radio. In addition to her sports reporting, she has done radio voice-over work.
Cervasio left NESN when her contract expired at the end of March 2008 to be closer to her family and her New Jersey home. In April 2008 she joined MSG in New York as a studio host and sideline reporter.
Tina is married to Kevin McKearney.
