Not sure if we have a dedicated thread for the game so here you go. Move this or whatever.

Just check the score and Peyton's TD / INT ratio at the end :)

Viewers have this to look forward to...

Edit: Apparently, it's not airing during the SB. I read too fast sometimes.

Me too. Super Bowl 48 was prob the most fun I've ever had watching a non-Pats SB. I'm hoping for a similar crap sandwich from Manning.
Yup. I was lucky enough to get a last minute ticket and got to sit right in the Denver section. It was glorious. Bottom line is that 2016 Peyton Manning doesn't deserve a SB win. Punish them, Carolina.

I would have been at the game if the Pats were in it, but instead I am spending the weekend at the Ritz in Boston with my wife.

It's fantastic, but the Broncos can still eat a fat one for so many reasons. Go Panthers.

You guys should be more excited about today then you seem to be.

Today is likely the end of Manning's career. You're just a few more months away from a stretch that got rid of Jeter, Manning and Kobe.

Go Broncos!!

The "coolness" of SoSH. Super Bowl? Pish posh, it's not like people actually watch it, all those ratings records are a lie.

Congrats..you've now said how cool you are for watching twice..and now have thrown out this straw man, when nobody in this thread is saying anyone else won't be watching (or that others shouldn't watch)... People around here aren't trying to be 'cool' in my opinion...just may be a bit bummed that the Pats aren't in it, no?

Hoo-hoo-hoo hoosier land.
I love football, and, while I'm a little ashamed to admit it, I would greatly enjoy seeing Manning lose again. I will also enjoy seeing Cam cram the football down the throats of all the sanctimonious farts who are scandalized by players celebrating.

Tom and Giselle Brady have arrived on the "Gold Carpet" at the Super Bowl. Jeans and high boots are a good look on her.

Pregame doing an "alternate" what if Scott Norwood kick went thru in 1990. With fake interviews from team, al michaels etc. This is terrible and depressing.

I'm mentally preparing myself now for when manning wins the mvp after throwing for 150 yards, a TD and 2 picks.
Dude. You just don't appreciate the impact that the brain residing inside that massive dome can have on the game. Even when Carolina has the ball.

You realize that most Americans don't watch the Super Bowl, right?

Nobody is making a judgment about those who want to watch this particular game. In fact, the only person who seems at all interested in being "cool" is you.

Peyton could hand the ball off 45 times and if they win, he'll get the MVP as everyone talks about how masterfully he orchestrated a ball-control offense.

They're not going to win. That offense isn't going to do shit against that Panther defense. It's gonna be SB 48 all over again, though a tad closer.

The game has a 50% rating. So it's not most. It's literally half.

And I would submit that most people on SoSH don't fall into that "Don't Watch Super Bowl" category. Except for those too cool.

Who would object to the super bowl being played on a Saturday? Besides tradition I can't think of a single reason to leave the game on Sunday or a single person that would object. It's dumb, just give us super Saturday. It's a dead time of year for sports, they wouldn't be stepping on anyone's toes (nor would the NFL care) and I suspect they would get even higher ratings and more $. Yes the NFL loves traditional, but they love money more. Super Sunday is dumb when Saturday is a viable option.

The available eyeballs for Sunday is roughly double to that of Saturday and given how much money that is, we can conclude that will never happen.

Yeah, there is approximately a 0% chance of that ever happening. Many people would object to a Saturday Super Bowl. Saturday is, by far, the least watched TV day of the week. Sunday is the most watched.

So, yeah, Super Bowl on a Saturday is akin to the BCS playing the semi's on New Year's Eve.

Why aren't the Broncos wearing their home uniforms? They that spooked about the beating they took in them 2 years ago?
Apparently they have never won a SB wearing the home jerseys. But have always lost when they have worn them. So they decided not to wear them.

Peyton crying in an interview.

Soft bitch.

They are playing up the storyline of his career which terrifies me. I want him to play as bad as he has lately, but fear him putting it all together for ONE LAST GAME, brought to you by NFL FILMS.

UGH.

where I was last at
In the shower this morning I washed my balls for about 3 hours to simulate today's Nantz/Simms game call. Given the pre-game so far, I should have taken a longer shower.
