Agreed on #6. But the folks in here who are suddenly claiming that this game was decided by officials are out of their minds.
It wasn't decided by the refs so stop with that. The refs have been terrible but so have a lot of Warriors and LBJ has been other worldly. Lots of questionable calls but GS had their chances to cut the lead to 6 or 5 and didn't do it and it got out of hand.

Just wait til Curry is suspended for game seven for firing his mouthpiece into the crowd/in the direction of a ref

Great moment for Cleveland fans. One win from a champinship - they have never been this close, correct? I like both teams and have no favorite but after what, 46 years as a franchise, you have be happy for these fans

No kidding. The refs are fucking horrible both ways, and have been again tonight. When Kevin Love got his phantom fouls earlier, people said no big deal, Love sucks. You got to accept it when it goes the other way too. The refs had nothing to do with the Cavs jumping out in the first quarter and they haven't really looked back since then.
I don't mind the foul calls; there are tons of judgement calls that go either way. Its when they fuck up possession that gets me. It's happened a lot in this series. I just think the old guys aren't physically up to it.

1997 world series was the last time they had a chance to win in the final game.

Did you see the first quarter? Just curious, because by this post, it seems like you didn't?
They were terrible in the 1st quarter and just like Game 3 it cost them any reasonable chance in the game. But they actually got into it in the 4th and a couple of questionable calls did not help them. But they had their chances in the 4th to cut the lead to 2 possessions and didn't do it. However, the refs sucked too.

Throughout the season I allowed myself to be convinced that Curry had assumed the mantle of best player in the NBA, but that seems foolish now though? Clearly LeBron is superior to him.

Here is what I wrote after the other night after Game 6, and I'm sure folks will write off the Cavs yet again going into game 7. With Green back, this wasn't supposed to be close. People just continue to underestimate Lebron, Irving and this Cavs team:

"People have been saying for the entire series that "Curry can't shoot that poorly again," or "when so and so does this, Cleveland will be done..." and it hasn't necessarily happened, so I don't know why folks can't buy into the fact that Cleveland could actually pull this out (or at least win on their home floor on Thursday). I think it's more llikely we'll see Irving score 35 again than Curry will all of a sudden be the healthy juggernaut he usually is. I think Golden State didn't shoot as well in that second half because Cleveland actually played the best defense they have all series. I think Lebron has been a force and his confidence has grown shooting the jumper with each and every game, and if he continues his upward trajectory, I could easily see him going for more than 41. Does anyone really doubt he can't do that in Cleveland?"

LeBron is the better all-around player, but he plays the regular season at maybe 75-80% intensity now and saves his energy for the playoffs. Curry had a better regular season.

LeBron won't win another MVP, but Playoff LeBron remains the game's best player. Curry is a close second, today's performance notwithstanding.

Dubs missed Bogut tonight. They couldn't guard the LBJ-TT tandem, and the officials didn't let them cover their weakness by hacking.

Funny how all of the GS fans and most vociferous anti-LeBron folks in this thread all think the officiating in this game was 'suspect', and everybody without any rooting interest finds that idea absurd.

I'm sure that's just coincidence.
I have defended LeBron all series.. What are you talking about?

I'll take playoff Klay over Curry and I don't think it's really close

1. GS is in trouble with injuries.
2. It is possible LBJ and Curry are both great.
3. Great Post season for NBA whatever happens. OKC raised profile, two biggest stars go head to head.
4.I think 1984 was the last time two best players went head to head in game 7.

Yeah I thought it was going to keep going. Though calling the league rigged is a bad look.

I think Barnes cost himself about $40 million tonight. Good lord was he awful. 0-8 and a -20 in 16 minutes and the Cavs basically stopped guarding him and were daring him to shoot.

If you had court side for game 7, says a pair, and were trying to maximize dollars.

Do you go stubhub for a crazy dollar amount?
Wrk with a broker?
eBay?
Other?
