Thornton OUT

I like it so far. Keefe has a better knowledge depth than Thornton and I think he is more entertaining. I think Holley was caught off guard where Keefe jumped right in and started challenging him. It's not just Thornton around dropping quips and hit and run comments or "being the voice of the fan". Holley says something dumb or emotional and Keefe was calling him out.I have always liked Keefe in limited exposure on 98.5, but my initial reaction was his personality might not be a fit with Dale. I didn't listen yesterday, but EEI has played some clips from the first show and it sounds like that might be the case. Interested to see how it goes. I may tune in just to see if its a trainwreck.
That was good, and when paired with him detailing how he was not given full time status at 98.5 for the seven years he worked there (Which meant he did not get health benefits), it drove home why he was mad. I'll give him credit for not quitting. Most interesting thing for me is that Keefe was pissed off when Murray got the F&M job and was basically looking to get out from then on for the right opportunity.
That was one funny point of the podcast. Minihane kept trying to find someone that Keefe didn't like or someone who hated Keefe and they couldn't come up with anyone. He really seems like a good likable guy.Murray is beyond Brutal. Keefe is more knowledgeable at sports and has ten times the personality. I've listened to a couple of his "Dork" podcasts too and he seems like a decent guy. I really hope it works out for him.
And he refuted Minihane's (And critics of Jones) belief that he just parrots Felger's takes by pointing out that they would begin their show email chain before F&M began their show.He didn't murder Adam Jones after years of working with him so he must have a pretty high tolerance.
Thornton primarily just made jokes and played the homer. Keefe is much wittier and knows way more. It adds a great dynamic to the showI've really enjoyed the Holley/Keefe dynamic. I like how Keefe just dove right in like he had been with these guys for years. I have a really hard time listening to Dale Arnold though.
I think hatred of Dale Arnold is completely rational. I simply can't listen to him for more than a few seconds.I have an irrational hatred for Dale Arnold and I'm not sure why. I hate the way he has to say complete and full names of every team and/or athlete he is talking about. It's never just "the Pats" or "Brady". He seems to get offended whenever any challenges him on something about hockey or the Bruins.
It's irrational, I know. I just don't like him.
I'm mostly just sick and tired of his weight loss commercialsI think hatred of Dale Arnold is completely rational. I simply can't listen to him for more than a few seconds.
