FL4twaa. Like Fatwah.

I love it, and I'll allow it. I join you in issuing a FL4twaa against the corrupt hockey Wahhabism of Guy al Boucher, Erik bin Karl, and Dion al Cuck.

You're just saying that because they traded Zibanejad.

Between here and everywhere.
So it seems like the "Bruins got hosed" narrative is getting a bit of national attention.

http://deadspin.com/yeah-the-bruins-got-hosed-1794410928

http://sports.yahoo.com/news/pierre-mcguire-slams-refs-non-call-bruins-vs-senators-ot-video-035543561.html

It doesn't fix what happened last night, but perhaps if the chorus gets loud enough, the refs may be a bit gun shy on calling anything against the Bruins, or over-eager to call something against the Sens going forward.

It will be interesting to see how this impacts the series going forward.

If anything, I'd think it'd go the other way. The league/officials won't want the appearance of handing out make up calls so they'll be harder/nothing changes on the Bruins. The Bruins never draw penalties anyways. The Bruins penalty differential from 2010-2011 through this season is -205. Next worst is Colorado at -137 lol. The Bruins have been among the most dominant possession teams over those years but they never ever draw penalties. Why start now?

Whatever, it's over. Win this game.

You think the Bruins embellish to a degree even remotely on par with some other teams around the league?

I mean, they have two guys about as strong on their skates as anyone accounting for roughly 15% of the team's minutes. Marchand is only one man.

“Carlo skated today and he’s doing okay, day-to-day and doubtful for [Game 4]. Colin Miller is better, so we’ll have an update in the morning. Miller is ahead of Carlo, for sure,” said Bruce Cassidy. “Krug is listed as day-to-day, but he wasn’t out there today.”

One note on Krug: He’s been spotted the last couple of days with no crutches and no discernible limp, so he’s clearly feeling a little better at this point than when he first suffered the injury a couple of weeks ago vs. Ottawa. Matt Grzelcyk was also still practicing with the team on Tuesday despite being re-assigned to Providence on Monday night during Game 3 when it was Tommy Cross that got the call in Boston’s lineup.

Both David Krejci and Noel Acciari were at practice on Tuesday as well, so it appeared those injured forwards are over the hump as the B’s enjoyed a growing number of players on the practice ice. Here are the projected line combs and D-pairings vs. the Senators in Game 4 based on Tuesday’s practice group:

Marchand-Bergeron-Backes

Stafford-Krejci-Pastrnak

Schaller-Nash-Acciari

Moore-Spooner-Vatrano

Chara-McAvoy

Morrow-K. Miller

Liles-Cross

Rask

No fucking moral victories tonight. Just a 5-1 rout, with McAvoy getting his first.

IIRC, Pasta started on the Bergy line in G3, but then was paired with Krejci after a few shifts, and certainly by the 2nd period. Personally, I liked Pasta on the Bergy line and Backes seems like the kind of player that DK does well with. I'll be interested to see how this plays out. Also, I'd be irrationally excited if C. Miller could supplant Cross tonight.

I really don't want this to be the last game of the spring season in TD Garden. Come out playing the physical game from the puck drop and pepper Anderson with quality scoring chances. Some reinforcements coming back on defense would be nice too.

I thought they played a lot better with Pasta on Krejci's line and Backes on the Bergeron line. Good to see that seems to be the plan tonight.

Let's win this one so I can continue to build a foundation of watching hockey with my new daughter. I need at least one more round.

The problem with Pastrnak on the Bergy line is it makes them a one line team, albeit that line arguably the best line in all of hockey. Krejci and Pastrnak actually played better away from each other during the regular season.

Tough to figure out. I think they're 2 wingers short in the top 6.

Liles is pretty meh. Not much happens when he is on the ice. In the regular season he was above 50% in CF, GF, SF, etc which is fine for a bottom pairing defenceman. I haven't really had a problem with Liles. He's just kind of there.

I did find it interesting in game 3 that Cassidy's bench shortening included benching the Liles/Cross pairing when possible and resulted in Morrow playing like 10 minutes more than Liles. Morrow went from not playing for almost 3 months to a heavy top 4 role, leapfrogging Liles. I've always thought eye-test wise Morrow looked good. He's mobile, skates well, can make a good first pass and join in the rush. The team has really buried him though. We'll see what sort of TOI distribution happens tonight with Miller back.

Someone needs to fucking plant Karlsson tonight. The announcers make him sound like the second coming of Bobby Orr. Dude is good but he's no McAvoy.

I didn't watch as closely during Game 3 but his gap control in Game 2 was absolutely horrendous on several occasions, so I imagine the defensive part of his game leaves a lot to be desired.

WHile we are making requests, I'd love it if someone tuned up Bobby Ryan too.

Morrow's looked like he's spooked out there...I agree his physical skills are very good, but he's been pretty shaky IMO. Not playing with confidence, which I guess is understandable.

I was surprised when I saw that he played twice as much as Liles. But Cassidy obviously saw something, at least as between those two.

One thing I heard several times.....from the NESN studio people and the NBC studio and broadcast crowd was that Morrow had, in the past, played pretty well upon getting back into the lineup, and then start to suck thereafter. Is that really conventional wisdom? I never thought he looked all that great to begin with (even though I thought he played better than I thought he would Monday).

I'm with DrewDawg -- I'm in the mood for a rout. You know the Bruins will come out flying in the first period.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Cassidy switch up the second D pairing to K. Miller-C. Miller at some point if C. Miller looks good.

What do we think about Krejci? Can he start to be a threat in this series, or is he just too limited by his injury?

He's been utterly on his heels when facing the oncoming rush - giving the attackers so much room to play with and allowing them into prime shooting areas with no objection. Shows flashes of fluid skating but overall he's been quite scary.

Schaller - Krejci - Pastrnak
Moore - Nash - Acciari
Vatrano - Spooner - Stafford

Chara - McAvoy
Morrow - K. Miller
Liles - C. Miller

What purpose does Schaller serve on that second line? Would prefer stafford or maybe even Acciari to throw some weight around

He obviously hasn't connected on any of them, but Marchand is generating some great chances right now.

Feels like the Bruins have had more scoring chances so far tonight than they did in the first 2 periods on Monday.

Huge save there.

I like the aggressiveness from Miller but not as much with Liles as his partner and especially not the way Liles has played this series
