I think its partially because the defensive contributions of KO and Amir are easy to forget?
Amir's effort isn't in question but he was on the fifth consecutive (this is the sixth) season of decline in minutes, points, rebounds and looked like he was running on broken glass by the end of the season. KO's D was...interesting? He held ground against Cs and was in the right position often as well, but I don't know how much of the Stat appreciation is KO and how much is scheme. KOs rebounding was...what it was.
I am a fan of All Of Australia and believe the physical nature of his game will have extra 'impact' in the playoffs, so not taking anything away from his game, just think its a pretty low bar to clear.
