Seems to me that if there's a home intrusion involved that is going to be a very serious felony. More serious -- in terms of punishment -- than a battery without that aspect. Like major hard time, I think.
We'd need RR, I think, but it's potentially complicated. If he sent someone into his own house, where she was living, to beat her up, I'm not sure that rises to the level of the very serious aggravated burglary charges.
But, so imagine this scenario. These aren't likely to be super sophisticated criminals. Maybe she got a look at the guy. Imagine they find him and she identifies him. He may have a massive incentive to flip on McCoy if McCoy set it up. If you conspired with someone to go into his own house and beat someone up, it's going to be a signfiicant crime, but probably not nearly as significant as if you stay quiet and take the rap for a burglary with serious bodily harm.
