That was a horrible throw by Brees. If Brady did that, Max Kellerman and his ilk would be readying TB12 for the glue factory.

I didn't see the play. Where did the chop block take place? Was it on the LOS or somewhere else? Because you can't use a cut block on a change of possession play (kickoff, punt, interception, fumble, etc.).

Personal protector went low. I did not know that was illegal, thanks.

Saints really missing their TEs. Josh Hill injury was big.

It’s right there for the Rams to steal this thing.

I don't understand why Woods gets the majority of sweeps. You have a guy who has the best abilities of wheels with the ball in Cooks, has familiarity with such a role last season, but hasn't been used as much today. Great play from Armstead and Whitworth today, but I really dislike both offensive gameplans in the macro.

Yep, I said it at the time, but that was a much bigger loss than most would have realized. Ben Watson being inactive made it a really big deal.

Weird. If a finger grazes the QB's helmet it is 15 yards. But the dangerous horsecollar is allowed.
Usually, players get injured when they are running, and the tackle is made from behind via the horse collar and their legs get bent. It doesn't happen that way in the pocket typically, which is why it's still illegal to do it on a QB who is running outside the pocket. Usually, when it's in the pocket, the QB isn't running, so the momentum that typically causes the injury isn't there.
