So - Brady lifetime has played in half of the SBs that have happened during his career - and won one-third.

Good god.

And...I can't even think about the research, but I wonder, if you expand it to any two teams in a city winning a title (so including NBA and NHL), I wonder how many times it happened? I think the Cs/Bs missed by like 6 days one year.

FUCKING PATS CHAPS OF THE WORLD AGAIN!!!!!!!!!@!!

And in that 9/17 that he has participated in, he is batting .667 (6-3).

This year maybe more than others was about the team and not Brady specifically. The defense was better than it has ever been. I mean think about that. How the F did that happen?

I fear that we will really miss Flores.

I’m hoisting a few to Julian Edelman. Nobody is perfect, and we’ll never know everything about these guys in their personal lives, but after watching several interviews with this guy after the performance of a lifetime following what was obviously a trying year or two, his genuine humility makes me proud to root for him.

Respect. Not my team, and my wife and kids are hardcore Steelers fans. But I can't not be overwhelmed by the success this team has had. I will never, ever see anything like this again. More titles than Jeter. Respect.

Now go beat Jordan.
Agreed. I'm a quasi Pats fan and won't claim to be more even after tonight, but this is greatness at its finest. We'll never see any team in sports do something as impressive again.

The Warriors may do something comparable in the NBA, but it's not the same given the parity of the NFL

Gronk on NFL network "I only had 1 ring, and now I have 3. My friends told me I only got a half ring the second time cuz I missed half the season, so now I have 2.5 and I get to round up to 3." He's fucking awesome.

Brady has 4th quarter game-winning drives in all 6 Super Bowl wins.

There's not a fucking thing any opposing teams fans can say now; NOTHING.

SIX.

Tonight that was hands down the greatest defensive effort in a Super Bowl, the Rams were the #2 offense in the NFL, they put up a whopping 3 points, a brilliant defensive game plan, that's two games in a row where they stoned the other team.

Incredible.

Edelman has 13 consecutive post-season games with 5+ catches, which is an NFL record.

That'll be a hard one to beat considering it's hard to even play in 13 post-season games. Oh, it'll also hard to beat when he keeps adding to it next year.

From the ages of 16 through 20 I watched the Pats go 19-61. That five year stretch of awfulness culminated in the team nearly moving to St. Louis.

Today I watched that franchise win their sixth Super Bowl.

I’m dumbfounded, awestruck and immensely grateful.

Fck! Sh*t!

54thMA nailed it. The defense put on a brilliant showing - Flores gets to leave with his legacy enhanced unlike Matty P.

And for those of us who were around for the Marc Wilson, Tom Hodson, Hugh Millen years, this is simply surreal. This franchise, during the late 1980s and early 1990s, was the biggest laughingstock in maybe all of professional sports - not just the NFL.

Six...incredible. Amazing. Unimaginable.

For those of you that watch "Inside the NFL" every week, Ray Lewis is going to do some strutting around this week. He's been saying all year that when it comes down to it in the end, defense will win the Super Bowl. And he was proven right.

First one was the year after I graduated college. Now I’m on the eve of 40 with a three year old and another on the way. And this team is still winning.

Damn.

Amazing amazing amazing. For all the talk year after year about the “tomato cans” and the relative easy road the Pats have during the playoffs... this year, they beat 3 teams who finished the regular season with a better record than the Patriots.
All that coming from a team that basically everyone left for dead after week 15.
Talk about turning it on for the playoffs!

As great a win as tonight was, I'm glad I taped the KC game. It gets my vote for best game and moments of the year, and will be the one I'll watch over and over for the next year (and it includes Romo's great commentary). I think the end of that game was up there with the greatest games ever for watching and listening

This playoff run...

- Beat the 12-4 Chargers, widely considered to have the best overall team in the AFC. Pummeled them, really. Scored touchdowns on their first five possessions and utterly dominated the game.

- Beat the 12-4 Chiefs (#1 seed), with the most explosive offense in the NFL, boasting the league's MVP in QB Pat Mahomes.

- Beat the 13-3 Rams, with the #2 scoring offense in the NFL. Held them to just 3 points.

Outgained their opponents...

- NE 498 yds, LAC 335 yds
- NE 524 yds, KC 290 yds
- NE 407 yds, LAR 260 yds

TOTALS: NE 1,429 (476.3 avg), Opp 885 (295.0 avg)

Total domination of three great football teams. What an incredible postseason run by these Pats.
