Pet peeve of mine: after saving the last timeout, then Belmont uses it before the FTs. So on the missed FT you're stuck with a running halfcourt shot instead of setting up a baseline OOB play.
The kid who picked up his dribble should have called said time out. That pass was really poor.
This Kansas game looks like the first real dog of the day. NEastern isn't involved in the game. 30 points in 25 minutes.
Half court trap with about 1:15 to go. I don’t think it was intentional. Maryland missed 1 of the 2 free throws and Belmont hit a 3 with 59 seconds to go to cut it to 1.

Ye gods, Marquette is absolutely atrocious. It is incredible how a team can just completely forget everything and play like they are 11 years old.
Yeah, Marquette cannot win this game at this point. I haven't seen Markus Howard do a single thing in this entire 2nd half. His wrist must be doing poorly, because he's been useless at precisely the moment the team needed him.
This is why I said what I said about starting UVM/FSU at 2:00. The 2nd session is supposed to start in Hartford at 7:20 which will definitely not happen now since they have to clear the building. Usually there's 90 minutes between sessions or so. When the heck will Nova/St. Mary's start?

Haven’t had a chance to pay attention to any gage except the last 3 minutes of that Marquette murder. I picked them because I thought they’d win the one on one ... they apparently mailed it in.
True story: ACU tried to sues me once. And I caused their president to fly to my campus and meet with our president in an attempt to shut down our college newspaper.
My dad is at the Hartford regional. He said they had to leave the building only to get in back of the line for the 2nd session that took 45 minutes to clear.
I think they should have put one of these Gonzaga or SMC games in the late slot for the benefit of WCC fans. So they wouldn't go head to head against each other for tv purposes.
Thought Nevada would have done better. Actually though Abilene would have kept this closer based on some of the things I was reading
Villanova is not good and can’t dictate pace all year. Trap game all the way.
The Southland was horrificly bad this year. One of the worst conferences, they deserved a 16 seed imo.
Nevada has a guy, #22, who throws his head back like he's getting elbowed every other dribble on defense.
Is the Villanova game (TNT) choppy for anyone else? The games from Hartford have been like this all day
