Guys, the officiating gripes from Saturday night were bad, it had little to no say in the outcome. The opponents played their best game and the locals needed a tent over them and a ringleader for portions of the game. It happens. Just win the next one in front of us.

PS Brandon Dubinsky sucks.

Yeah - you need to change the title of this thread. While I understand the history here, it's not cool to use a woman's name as a derogatory insult.

No worries, appreciate it.

And regarding Dubinsky's comments - was he wrong? Were people there who can comment on the crowd? It certainly sounded quieter than Game 1, but I also wasn't paying as close attention.

I get it. He's sucked, maybe this lights a fire under him or at least minimizes the damage he can do in combination with the somewhat boneheaded play of M&B last game.

I don't hate it, even if Pasta were playing well. Columbus is the opposite of Toronto on D, super top heavy. This gives them 3 lines that they will not want to match their 3rd pair against. And in the short term, gives Pasta some softer matchups to get his head straight

Yeah - that's a REALLY strong "3rd" line for the Bruins and spreads them out as mentioned. I like giving it a try.

I don’t think it is really a big deal. There were double shifting Pasta on that 3rd line in spots on Saturday. They’ll do so again tomorrow.

I like it too, we need something to get him going and he should get some favorable matchups.

I agree with this.

I am hopeful the whole team will be better with the extra day of rest. That helps the Bruins significantly, and I would not be surprised to see a 4-1 or 5-1 win in Game 3 now that they have had a chance to rest.

I don't hate it either. Give him a shot on third line w/o being as gassed from the double shifting. I'm good with that.

Glad to have some rest here as well.

If the Bs had won game 2, I would have been in favor of scratching him for game 3 to send a message. Having lost game 2, I think we need him in the lineup based on what he's capable of doing despite the lackluster play so far.

How can it only be 11:30 a.m.?

Bruins are good road team. They won Game 4 and Game 6 in Toronto. They'll want to shut that Columbus crowd up, so they should come out strong.

I think the rest and regroup is huge, and I think they win tonight barring a leaky Rask early, but I don't see Bob giving up a 4 or 5 spot.

Maybe he should be dressed but forced to watch from the bench. It was that sort of bold move with Cam Neely that provided the springboard to Steve Kasper's lengthy NHL coaching career.

No careless turnovers in the defensive zone should lead to a victory tonight. Crush them.

It's incredible how perfectly this worked out. We planned this trip months ago for my SiL's graduation and then fate intervened.

I'll be screaming my tits off tonight. We'll see if I can manage to stay out of trouble.
Disable the cannon. With plausible deniability of course. Tripping over an untied shoelace opens up a world of possibilities.

I vote for a fully functional cannon that is not fired again after puck drop. Until September.

I'll be in the house tonight for my first B's playoff game in almost 20 years. Couldn't be more pumped. Trying to go Thursday as well.

Now win please.
Enjoy!

Busting out the #8 jersey again tonight. Need a boost on the road. Make Neely proud!

This post didn't get the love it deserved.
