Should be a fun series. I think the Blues are probably a little better overall, deeper at forward, and have the advantage in net.

I think the Sharks D is slightly better, and they are a little more experienced. Someone hit a power pole in my neighborhood and I cannot verify these statements currently.

I'm pulling for a Sharks vs Bruins finals, so I can jack my budget up for the next year.

This. I'd really like to see a SCF game in person.

Eh you take what comes your way. That said, the Sharks have had a charmed life in this year's playoffs so there is that.

Rooting for whatever makes for the longest series. Tonight that feels like a St. Louis win.

Sharks down 2-0, get a shorty , kill off the rest of the penalty, and then score another to tie it up.

Playoff hockey!!

Blues look like they're skating in a vat of molasses. I have no idea how they're going to survive another 17+ minutes without conceding.

Huh? They just allowed the first SJ SOG in almost 17 mins of game time.

That’s a really weak call considering everything they’ve let go this period.

I saw a couple of really tired skaters out there for a bit. What's been the weighting of possession time by zone this period?

Pretty weak call, though, I agree.

Hockey is the best:

C'mon, we all saw Dunn get hit in the cheek with a slap shot and go off the ice bleeding from the mouth, everyone knows what the injury is.

The Sharks were downright garbage the last 10 minutes of that period (including Jones), but it didn't help that the refs missed two clear penalties on St Louis in that span (the delay of game and the slash that injured Haley's wrist).

Christ St. Louis. Under a minute to go and you leave Pavelski and Couture open in front of your net? They deserved that.
