My 7 yo son is a Twins fan and he is unspoiled and his fandom is as pure as any. It literally brings tears to my eyes sometimes.

The Yankees always have one guy on the team who isn't "a true Yankee." They must, in order to deflect blame from the favorite players. Stanton is that guy now, and it's pretty fun to watch.

What's really going to be funny is watching him gimp around for the rest of that mammoth contract he's signed to; looking at him lumbering down the line, if he was a race horse, he'd be glue by now.

One thing that gives me hope is that Rocco is probably a lot better at prepping the team mentally for all the Yankees mystique bullshit than fucking Ron Gardenhire.
