Shades of Ditka and Harbaugh.Anybody seen Shanahan screaming at Garoppolo?
Lulling them to sleepIn a “gotta have it” game that is so crucial for playoff positioning, Aaron Rodgers has 39 passing yards in the 1st Half.
Blame @Old Fart Tree. He doesn’t pick up after his dog.A lot of shit on the ground but it is beautiful from a distance.
And different weather but Dak was just 19-39 for 212, 0 td, 1 int, for a not so good passer rating. In a “gotta have it” game that is so crucial for playoff positioning, Aaron Rodgers has 39 passing yards in the 1st Half.
I’m very impressed with their defense also. They look quick tonight.49ers with Kittle are unreal
I have a soft spot for the Saints now. My duaghter has become a huge fan during her College years in New Orleans. She was at the game today.Hahahahaha fuck off Saints!
I can't speak to that - he may work harder than we realize. And he is damn good to be clear. He has often had a rogues gallery of players around him to throw to as well as multiple seasons where he had no real running back.Rogers looks to me like a guy who refuses to put in the time to sharpen up his technique as his otherworldly talent declines. Everything’s a little sloppy and he doesn’t have the pure athleticism to bail him out as often
Looked like he was trying to copy the Gronk spike.Kittle could have practiced his WWE moves, rehydrated and still caught that with room.
Collinsworth just compared him to Gronk. But yeah, you are spot on.Looked like he was trying to copy the Gronk spike.
Weirder thing is wondering whether we could’ve.the next Gronk is here and we don't have him. weird feeling.
Yeah, he was so wide open. I don’t know if Kyle gets enough credit for how much of a genius play-called he is.Kittle could have practiced his WWE moves, rehydrated and still caught that with room.
Falcons should have never let him leave the building.Yeah, he was so wide open. I don’t know if Kyle gets enough credit for how much of a genius play-called he is.
It doesn’t matter which QB he has, his scheme is awesome.
Warren Sharp has been on Pardon My Take a few times and during his first appearance, he was singing Shanahan's praises in terms of how good he is at maximizing QB and offensive player performance. Its hard to argue with given the results thus far.Yeah, he was so wide open. I don’t know if Kyle gets enough credit for how much of a genius play-called he is.

Lombardi (best football podcast, imo) has always loved Ratface The Second.Warren Sharp has been on Pardon My Take a few times and during his first appearance, he was singing Shanahan's praises in terms of how good he is at maximizing QB and offensive player performance. I honestly don't think the Niners give up Kittle in that trade.I will never NOT find it appalling - and among the worst of a scant few terrible BB moments - that he shocked the 49ers by offering Jimmy straight up for a 2nd rounder and didn’t think to tack the phrase “...and Kittle” onto the end of the offer. Especially given the obvious coming Gronk slow down. The fact they took just ten minutes to call back and accept only makes it worse.
Oh well. We’ve won a super bowl since then, so I’ll shut up now. By which I mean FOR now.
Kyle was very prepared to just sign Cousins that off season until the offer came along. I don't think they were going to budge beyond a second.I honestly don't think the Niners give up Kittle in that trade.
The Niners were planning ahead to a high draft choice and were slowly building their team. This after finally hiring the right coach. Jimmy G made the job a bit faster (except he tore his ACL but that's another story). Putting Kittle in the package is a step backwards.
Just my two cents in a gamethread.
Impressive win by the Niners. Ravens next week, then Saints, then Seahawks. Whatever happens, this is a hard road.
I feel like Rodgers receivers have been better and he’s had more of them. Brady has made multiple receivers look great in NE, but when they left they did nothing.I can't speak to that - he may work harder than we realize. And he is damn good to be clear. He has often had a rogues gallery of players around him to throw to as well as multiple seasons where he had no real running back.
The thing is, the same could be said of Brady and while the Patriots coaching/organizational stability gives them a huge leg up on the Packers, it feels like Rodgers should have a lot more success given his talent level.
Well, if Jerry Jones is kind of throwing his coach under the bus right now, you might also blame Mike McCarthy for Packers underachievement during the years you cite.I feel like Rodgers receivers have been better and he’s had more of them. The narrative this year is that Rodgers has had a great year, but I haven’t seen it (especially since he’s on two of my ffb teams). Jones has had a great year though.. and he’s taken a lot of the tds by running so maybe the numbers are there, but to my eye the GB offense has been a mirage all season.
edit: in trying to prove my point though his receivers have been Nelson, Cobb, Driver, Adams, Jones.. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/gnb/lineups.htm
Seems like the stretch between 2014-2018 they were pretty stacked. With the level of talent they’ve had it seems as though they should have won more than one super bowl.
Yeah.. didn’t mean put it all on RodgersWell, if Jerry Jones is kind of throwing his coach under the bus right now, you might also blame Mike McCarthy for Packers underachievement during the years you cite.
This sounds like a reason to call your bookie, not a reason to think the Rams stand a good chance of winning the game.So.... huge game tonight for the Pats. Ravens are only a FG favorite, should the Rams win things are looking very good
