Man, Miami is trying to lose this one. Jets have no secondary, and the Dolphins just keep running the ball into the line with bad RBs.

After letting the 49ers and Saints play physical all game, they call OPI.
I mean I watched Sanders pull a guy down earlier no call and watched Thomas grab a defender's face mask earlier with no call.

Is a turnover on downs automatically reviewed upstairs like a normal turnover?

Did the announcers just say this game has been about penalties called on SF? Are they calling the game I am watching?
This game has been about big plays by both offenses (so far) not penalties. Unless I missed something.

That was a punt. Can't have DPI - Payton should know better.
But.. it wasn't even a fake punt.. the qb of the play never showed any sign they were going to kick.. (it was also not the punter there)... so how is that not just a 4th down play? The DB was holding the player the whole route and pushed him before the ball got there.

I have a question about ESPN's win probability thing. Does anyone know if it calculates things differently depending on how high scoring the game is? In other words is a 10-7 lead in the 4th the same as a 45-42 lead? I don't know how accurate it is, but I always end up watching it obsessively during games.

There’s the flag they were talking about. They were just calling it in advance!

I don't think so.

It's just game state: lead, time, field position, etc.

Looks like Winston is back for Bucs.

And on cue, Colts dropped easy INT.

Yes, it's a statistical probability model. It doesn't take into account anything but the lead and who has the ball and where.
Well it also takes into account the teams going in somehow because if one team is favored they will continue to be favored even if they fall behind early. So there is something else in the formula, but I'm not sure how they calculate that..... to the internet!

What a ridiculous penalty call in the Saints game. The guy was coming head first, how the hell was the Saint players supposed to tackle him?
