Calf muscle tear would likely be 3-4 weeks recovery. If that was the injury, his looked to be at the low end of the severity scale, and some "exotic" therapy like PRP might speed his healing.
Didn’t really look like a low end injury at all to me? He collapsed when he tried to put any weight on it.

Calf tear fells like someone threw a rock into your calf muscle. It's a sharp sting, but when you try to put weight on it, you find it surprisingly doesn't have much strength in it at all. That's kind of what Ingram looked like there, but it could be something else.

lol Baker just runs out of bounds on 4th and goal. What a terribly coached team.

Wait Nantz is wrong right? I thought you go for the 2 early so you know what you need?

Fallacy? Of course the smart play there is to get the extra point and make it a 1-possession game. Now it's 2 possession game against a team that can just drain the clock down. Infinitely stupid.
Math says you're wrong. You're winning percentage is slightly better if you go for 2.

Smart play is to go for two. If you kick then you need to convert the two point next time. If you go for two first and miss then you still have a chance

Wait explain to me why you go for two there? XP makes it a one score game, now the Browns need two more possessions.
If you kick first you have to convert the two point conversion. If you go for twofirst you still have a chance if you fail

If you fail on the two point conversion on either TD, you’re down one regardless. The two point attempt doesn’t get easier after the second TD.

Now they know they have to score twice. Better to know that now than with less time remaining on the game clock.

Or at least foreknowledge.

Of course this is the Browns, who are the worst.

I really doubt Lamar was showing up Ingram. In everything I've read, his teammates think the world of him. Besides, on the sidelines, they looked they worked out whatever mistake was made.
Lamar put his hands up on his head like you do when you’re being derisive and then ran over to Ingram and looked like he was yelling at him. I have it recorded but don’t have time now to look at it now.

I don't agree in this situation. With Baltimore's ability to run the clock down with the running game they have, the risk in missing the two and keeping it a 2 possession game is too high. I'd rather have to go for the 2 and the tie at the end then knowing I need 2 more possessions against them with that amount of time left.

Math doesn't matter
Okay.

But let's stipulate that Nantz wasn't basing his thinking on math no longer mattering since Lamar Jackson was drafted. He would have said exactly the same thing if Devlin Hodges was the QB.

Steelers haven't won a game when trailing by 4+ points in last 2 minutes in 10 years? Wow.

I wasn't exactly basing my opinion on Nantz's comments. Are you better off trying to stop Baltimore once and getting the ball back with a chance to tie or having to stop them, score, and either convert an onsides kick or stop them again to get a chance to tie or take the lead?
