NFC is going to be a bloodbath in the playoffs, really. All of these teams are good. Except for the Eagles.

Oh wait so it is legal to throw on 3rd down when you’ve been stuff at the goal line twice?

Could have been Offensive PI for sure, but man that was a shitty job by the defensive player, especially given everyone knew the #1 option there was the fade to Rudolph

While we are disappointed with a 12-4, division title, wild card loss, the Saints, in three consecutive years in which they were legit SB contender, have:
  • Lost the divisional rd on one of the most improbable last play touchdowns you’ll ever see
  • Lost the NFCCG partly thanks to one of the worst no-calls in league history at home
  • Lost wild card in OT to Kirk Cousins at home

Brees’ contract is exactly the same as Brady’s, why aren’t we hearing the same “is this his last game as a Saint” stuff that we’re getting non-stop about Brady?

Wow, I really thought the Saints would clobber Minny, especially at home. My husband is from Minnesota, so glad for him even though he is a converted Pats fan since being married to me. He still likes his hometown team, though.

There's a simple solution to this

Don’t be hasty (just because what’s happened so far).
I felt that way going in, really. Any NFC team outside of the Eagles could win the Super Bowl and it wouldn't shock me. Whereas in the AFC, it's basically a two team race.

Some could have lumped the Pats in there, sure. But that was a stretch.

Give credit to the Vikings defense for this. Kamara and Thomas had moments, but they didn't dominate.

Now let's go EAGLES! I'm pulling hard for the Birds.
Appreciate it, but I really believe this could be a blowout.

Wilson has had an MVP-quality year and the Eagles are playing guys that make Vince Papale look like an All-Pro. I just don’t see this ending well.

Edit: except for wibi. :)

Because Joe Buck isn't erotically aroused by Brees the way Jim Nantz is over Brady.

No way. Seahawks have 3 backups on the OL today.

Wilson can't and won't do anything. Man up and play your game!

You obviously havent watched Seattle at all this year. If it doesnt come down to the last drive its not the 2019 Seahawks

If you're not clear why, you haven't followed the NFL over the past 19 years.
It was a rhetorical question. But now that I think about it if I’m the Chargers or a similar team I think I’d rather throw a shitton of money at Brees rather than Brady for 2 years given their respective ages, and if I’m the Saints I actually might not match given how well the team seemed to perform under Bridgewater.
