I'm seriously sick and tired of hearing Bryson's voice. What an annoying, entitled-sounding muppet.
If I understand the issue now, he was given a ruling that he’s out of bounds. Got a second ruling. Didn’t like that and now is asking for a third ruling.Bryson is playing some army golf this afternoon.
My apologies to the dick.Think he's still waiting for second ruling, which I didn't know was a thing.
“Back in 1952, Hogan played a ball from the other side of the fence. What about that, rules-guy?”Thanks for holding everything up while you make a 10.
He sucks.“Back in 1952, Hogan played a ball from the other side of the fence. What about that, rules-guy?”
The second official was higher up the food chain - that's the way these things escalate. You don't like the ruling from the guy following your group, you get a ruling from one of head officials on tour...and then that's it. (The second ruling takes precedence.)So, if 2nd opinions are a thing, what happens if the 2nd guy agrees with Bryson? 2 officials with differing opinions. Do they need a 3rd to break the tie? Is there an official hierarchy?
I cannot believe that he argued with a rules official and used an example of something Arnold Palmer did decades ago as his reason for holding up the entire course ... while making a 10.He sucks.
I'll say this, he makes it incredibly easy to root against him. Watching him card a ten was truly a joy, probably the best moment I've had in the last 4 months.I cannot believe that he argued with a rules official and used an example of something Arnold Palmer did decades ago as his reason for holding up the entire course ... while making a 10.
HE WAS PROTECTING HIS BRAND.Bryson's caddie going over to the cameraman to block the view of Bryson as he stormed off the 16th tee was also super classy.
Did he actually reference Palmer? I heard him cite (to the referee) something Mickelson had done at a much more recent tournament, but not Palmer.I cannot believe that he argued with a rules official and used an example of something Arnold Palmer did decades ago as his reason for holding up the entire course ... while making a 10.
It was what Mickelson did at Arnold's tourney, but either way, yeah it was absurd. If your ball was still in bounds you could absolutely do what Phil dd, and hit it from the other side of the fence. But its not, so shut the fuck up and move on.I cannot believe that he argued with a rules official and used an example of something Arnold Palmer did decades ago as his reason for holding up the entire course ... while making a 10.
So you mean I have to apologize to the dick twice? It was what Mickelson did at Arnold's tourney, but either way, yeah it was absurd. If your ball was still in bounds you could absolutely do what Phil dd, and hit it from the other side of the fence. But its not, so shut the fuck up and move on.
hope he counted wrong and signs an incorrect cardI'll say this, he makes it incredibly easy to root against him. Watching him card a ten was truly a joy, probably the best moment I've had in the last 4 months.
That will really hurt his chances of winninghope he counted wrong and signs an incorrect card
He'll just call in a 2nd rules official to give him the answer he wants. No worries for Bryce. That will really hurt his chances of winning
FTR, I spoke too soon - I wasn't expecting Cantlay to make a second double-bogey out of a fairway bunker on the back nine today.Cantlay is going to post a pretty great number today for someone who had a pretty easy fairway bunker shot on #10, hit the lip and had the ball rebound into a fried egg lie right under the lip.
He holds up everything when he makes a par. Thanks for holding everything up while you make a 10.
That’s a perfect score right? It’s like gymnastics? That was an amazing sequence for Reauchambeau. 10.
And Ryan Palmer has blown a lot of shots and putts today already.A freaking bomb by Finau to get to -11. He’s got the pixie dust sprinkled on him today.
I was floored when they put the graphic up earlier that said Day was among the players who have played all 6 weeks since the restart. If Day's back hurts so bad every time he bends to pick the ball out of the hole, why wouldn't he just have his caddie do it for him?
this is the correct answerAlso, he’s picking the ball out of the hole because he is a hero.
I'm very much looking forward to some Rahm Rage. This is gonna be a blast
