How did the Saints miss the recovery

And how do you leave him that wide open?
missed the recovery in part because the center realized Carr didn't take it and held it up for a while so it didn't get lost in the feet before he could get back to it

Carr is garbage

Such garbage, he keeps running from no pressure into pressure and he does it by turning his body into a position where he can't throw if he wanted to.

GARBAGE
Reminder, Derek Carr is the starter because the Raiders' backup is Nathan Peterman.
Nathan Peterman was signed for more guaranteed money this offseason than Cam Newton.
Cam Newton is much better than Derek Carr.

Carr is 21-28 for 223 (8.0 YPA) w/ 3TD & 0 picks against a defense that made Brady look awful last week, playing behind three back up linemen.

To be fair when I posted it he was playing like garbage. Also Cam is still a much better player

That's all I'm thinking about and I must admit I've been underrating the Raiders. This offense has a number of weapons who can give NE serious problems.
Jacobs is going to run all over us. Wouldn't be surprised to see Carr play well too, he's fine so long as he has no pressure, and our pass rush is non-existent

Waller might have 15 catches. I’m like half serious. He is awesome.

The NFL fined coaches/teams $1M for improper mask wearing? The NFL and Goodell really are hate-able sometimes
It’s not like the league has ever had a sense of humor about minor deviations from league rules concerning on-field attire — remember Jim McMahon’s Adidas headband, or Terrell Owens pulling a Sharpie out of his sock? It would be odd if the league was less rigorous about enforcing its COVID safety rules.

The Pats D looked not dissimilar last night to how they did against GOOD offenses last year. However, my guess/fervent hope is that they will respond to the shit show (and subsequent coverage thereof) with a much better showing on Sunday vs. the Vegas Raiders. Also, Josh Jacobs, feel free to aggravate that injury juuuuuuust a little bit so you miss, say, a week.
