On the defensive run stop Miami has 5 blockers taking on Bentley, Butler and Winovich, and the 3 of them completely blow it up. Impressive.

Izzo shows up well blocking on Cam's TD run as well.

Coming here to post the same thing. He got beat twice, but made the right play both times. Too bad he's 225 lbs, that's pretty light for a BB linebacker. Heck, he's not that much bigger than Dugger.
And committed unsportsmanlike conduct on the 1 yard line and an unneccesary roughness on the same drive with an OOB hit for 15 yds.

The vibe in that picture is either Terminator or mugshot of a fleeing suspect dragged by police dogs from a hiding spot in a local resident's bouganvilla garden

So, Ross is asking if *his* profession would treat a lesser coach differently?

No this is Ross asking why won't someone else in his profession go after his appearance first so he can jump on the bandwagon. HE doesn't want to be the driver, but he wants to go along for the ride.

Love the short Burkhead TD run, with the road to the end zone paved by Herron at LT and Onwenu at LG - two sixth round picks playing big snaps as rookies already.

Not a Belichick breakdown, but a breakdown of Belichick. A really great read... let me know if you want a trial subscription
The public perception of Patriots head coach Bill Belichick is that he is gruff, perhaps devoid of emotion. Yet it’s been recently revealed how Belichick has actually gone out of his way to extend some of his players’ careers, or to at least significantly soften the blow of their waning moments.

A breakdown of the way Bill Belichick stopped McVay's offense in Superbowl 53 and showed the rest of the league how to stop that offense in 2019 leading to a 9-7 record.

This was great. Thanks for posting it. The video glosses over Gurley's injury impacting his ability to hit those smaller gaps as hard as he might have managed to otherwise, but it was a great schematic breakdown, IMO.

Gurley's 2019 stats against that front show that maybe it wouldn't have made much difference.

Not sure where this should go, but it's BB talking about the Pats' rookies...

https://nesn.com/2020/10/patriots-2020-rookies-are-further-behind-than-ever-bill-belichick-says/
"Ahead of the team’s Week 6 matchup with the Denver Broncos, Patriots coach Bill Belichick offered a blunt assessment of New England’s rookie class, which, thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, did not have the benefit of offseason workouts or preseason games.

“You’re certainly accurate in saying it’s been a challenging season for them,” Belichick said Thursday in a video conference. “I think they’ve tried to do the best they can. It’s new for all of us and new for them, but I think they’ve taken a responsible approach to it and have continued to work hard and get better.

“They’re further behind than any rookie group that I’ve ever had before based on the offseason situation, and that rolled into training camp, too. They’ve got a lot of ground to make up to be competitive with players that have a lot more experience and have had a lot more training than they’ve had.”"

The rookies so far that have been the best have been Onwenu (awesome), Dugger (he's been really good), Taylor (helpful in providing a spark), and Herron (valuable backup OL).

That's actually not bad production considering the circumstances. Makes me quite bullish on Dugger and Onwenu, and more patient with some of the others.

BOSE -- the sponsor for Belichick Breakdowns -- must never have contemplated a losing season and only two episodes deep into October. Bright side for them is hopefully the deal was structured that way and they're saving money in challenging times.

The best news in this most recent BBB is his spotlighting Dugger, Uche and Wino and showering all three with praise. Hope that points to more usage like this past week.
