This is a funny mistake. My son was musing earlier that if the XFL hadn’t folded, Sam Darnold would have forged a nice rivalry with Jake Locker in the years to come.
Easy schedule, lots of close wins. They were more lucky than good. Of course, they were a lot better than they’ve been this year. Losing the top two players on last year’s D (Adams, Mosley) didn’t help.
If the Jets don't win w/ 3 gift INTs from Rypien, Johnson may go back on his word and still fire Gase after the game.
Mosley didn’t play last year, injured week 1 and tried playing in Pats game but that was it
Yep, only plus 34 in net points over those 8 games. Two of their big wins? Washington and the Giants.

Herndon really is having a tough time after his terrific rookie season back in 2018. Injury last year and doesn't look the same this year.
Ballage ran straight out of bounds like there were 5 seconds left and no timeouts.

Really odd, especially with the two minute warning giving them an extra timeout. And given their field position, three remaining TO, and only needing a FG, the clock wasn’t an issue provided they kept moving the chains.
