Mixon is the #9 running back year to date in terms of fantasy points. And most leagues have very little on the RB side on waivers. I don't think you are right.
I am if you look at what he’s done outside of one blow up week.

I choose to include all weeks when considering performance. And he hasn't had a disastrous game. Two marginal games, two good games, one week winning game. #9

Not a bust. Fair value, as he was usually drafted around #9 on the RBs.

Remember when the Titans were going to get hit with heavy penalties for their outbreak and illegal practice?

Didn't know about this new "high risk" group this week. Quite the honor system they have going.

This is getting silly. These teams have to assume everyone is positive and make sure no one is a "close contact" with anyone during practice or in the locker room/meetings.

If one person tests positive you can't put a dozen players on the COVID list for 5 days. In this case its all practice squad I guess, but if it's the actual roster this is a big problem.

Going to look even more silly when one of the 4 non Reserve/COVID practice squad players tests positive next.

Jene Bramel has a good twitter thread on the new system. Lays out the changes and then he gives some of his own thoughts.

@JeneBramel: A thread on this week's adjustments to NFL COVID plan, which includes additional categories for close contacts.

Here's the link to the full 70+ page document if you're interested in the specific language. https://www.playsmartplaysafe.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/nfl-nflpa-covid-protocols-10.12.20-final.pdf

Interesting, thanks.

My basic takeaway is that teams should never have a high risk contact situation. Whatever they determine high risk contact to be, you just can't let that happen. If one positive test could turn into 5 or 10 people out for 5 days, you are pretty screwed.

Yeah, about that..... Schefter just put this up this morning:

https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/30135281/sources-tennessee-titans-not-expected-severely-punished-nfl-covid-19-protocol-violations
Patriots fans will get a good laugh out of this:

Although the Titans could face discipline, it is not expected to be as severe as some thought it could be when the league's investigation started, sources told ESPN.

The NFL believes that the Titans' violations of the league's COVID-19 protocols were acts of negligence rather than intent, according to sources, so the organization's penalties might not be as punitive.

"The league is trying to be reasonable here," one source close to the investigation told ESPN. "They're taking intent and motive into account. They're backing off the Titans."
Ah yes, the famed "reasonableness" that the NFL is so well known for.

See, they didn't intend to spread COVID-19. They were just being negligent! It's not like they were intending for people to get sick and maybe die. It's merely their negligence that caused people to get sick and maybe die! So it's fine.

If they were negligent that means there were not “probably generally aware.”

There was insufficient communication about ball handling protocols, including the propriety of increasing or decreasing the air pressure levels of the game balls.

Bedard last week said the NFL was still working hard to nail the Pats over the COVID-19 cases.
