Only pitched 16 innings in the reg season and he's gone 2-3 days between appearances in the playoffs for the most part. He did go on the IL this year with forearm discomfort so maybe that's it? Just seems odd considering how good he's been the past 2 seasons.
Frankly, it's just as odd that he's been so good the past 2 seasons(ages 29&30), but that's a different discussion.

I know. It's just odd that he became so dominant so late, and I don't say that as a cryptic comment about him being a juicer. I just really find it interesting.
That was an amazing rivalry, I also of course remember Brett demolishing Gossage a few years later.

I can’t shake why my intuition feels as it does but seems impossible this inning ends with a 0 in the run column for Tampa.
