Really loving the Hafley regime forcing turnovers.

Flowers is special.

Grosel is capable enough as a backup. Let's beat UVA and see what Bowl we are offered.

If there’s ever a year for BC to get a good bowl it’s a year where attendance doesn’t matter and it’s all tv ratings. At 7-4 they will look very attractive.

Good point, Dave Stapleton, a bowl can't say "BC doesn't travel well" in 2020. Bowls where they allow some level of attendance will no doubt take a local school, but the opponent won't matter in that regard.

And it doesn't hurt that the team is capable of giving anyone a ballgame.

Yup. Speaking of which, a big commitment today:

Pulled from South Carolina. BC is going to have real speed on its defense in the next few years. Love what Hafley has done so far.
Obviously Hafley won’t be here long term, but he will leave this program in far better shape than it’s been in a long time.

But just focusing on the next few years, this is going to be a damn good team.

Yup. Hopefully 3-4 good years and Hafley goes on to greener pastures. We’d all accept that.

Tuukka's refugee camp
Feldman listed him as one to watch for the next Michigan hire. Long shot but not the worst spot to be in for BC. Much more plausible than Daz to Florida rumors after his first year.

Looks like the decision was left to a player vote. I don’t blame them. It’s been a brutal year and they did an amazing disciplined job. Time for them to enjoy some downtime with their families.
Agreed.

I suspect the players would make a similar decision in normal years, assuming the alternative is the sort of shitty bowl game that invites a 6-win team. The school was willing to go along this year because (a) the school loses money on the bowl game, and (b) with COVID, it’s not like there were a bunch of alumni eager to travel.

They'd probably lose less this year given the capacities, depending on which bowl of course.
