The Brady Invitational moves to the NFC. Of the teams left, I can’t imagine not cheering for Brady to destroy Rodgers then either knock off KC to prevent them from going back to back or continue to torment Buffalo from beyond the grave.

What percentage of Bills fans would decide NOT to blow thousands to attend the SB if Tom is in it?

cue the Mahomes watch...

even if he's fine, the Bills have a real chance. a dynasty isn't that easy, Chiefs.

So either the MVP (I’m assuming Rodgers wins it) will have a chance to win the SB or we will have a team playing the SB in its own building.

Sports doesn‘t follow a movie script, but if it did, Buffalo would exorcise its demons and win their first Super Bowl by finally defeating Brady.

The Brady Invitational should be amazing. Both teams are peaking right now and both QB’s have been getting increasingly stingy with turnovers. Add in the setting of a potentially snowy Lambeau? Only regret is that it’s the earlier game.

Loved seeing video of Brady meeting with Brees in civilian clothes an hour or two after the game and then completing a TD pass to Drew’s oldest of three sons. Quite a human moment. And then Tom walking away, making sure to wave to each of the kids.

I was rooting for NO yesterday--they've always been my second favorite team, but I imagine it will be Tom from here on out, though I do enjoy this Bills team. I will not be rooting for GB under any circumstances.

After watching Tampa's defensive prowess bailing out their aging star QB with short field after short field, I'll be rooting for AA-ron in the NFCCC. It was Peyton-in-SB-LV-level ineptness by Brady for most of the game, with unbelievable luck to not be picked on multiple occasions. As for the AFCCC, my wife's a long-suffering Bills fan, so I'll be rooting for the AFC East champs once again. All sort of terrific SB storylines possible with all 4 remaining teams.

Probably settle down with this. He wasn't stellar or anything, but this is a little over the top.

Any of the four combinations will be tremendous. Four great QBs - and no matter what, it will be a young stud vs. an old HOFer. And I'm pretty sure these are the four best teams in the league. Tampa has shown that once they kind of got rolling.

I'll assume you meant SB L (as LV won't be for another few weeks). Let's take a look:

Brady last night: 18-33 for 199 yards, 2 TDs, 0 Ints 1 rushing TD, passer rating of 92.9
Manning in SB L: 13-23 for 141 yards, 0 TDs, 1 Int, 1 fumble lost, passer rating of 56.6

There really isn't a comparison, other than noting that they were both outshined by their defenses.

*edit - there's probably a good argument to be made that 2015 Peyton Manning was statistically the worst QB ever to win the super bowl (relative to the league average). Brady isn't quite the MVP candidate of a few years ago, but by any statistical measure he's somewhere between top 10 and top 3.

Brady '21 ain't Brady '07 or '17, but he was sure as shit a lot better than dead-arm wounded-duck Peyton. The Broncos dragged his ass into two SB, one he was historically brutal, the other his D won the game. He had nothing to do with that win. Omaha!

TB12 is good enough with a decent D to win it all. He had a couple of balls yesterday that with some luck or longer finger tips were TDs.

It reminded me of Willie Mays, Hank Aaron. Two greats, but only one is still going strong.

Or Hank in his age 41 and 42 years in Milwaukee.
We always have this perception of Willie Mays aging badly but he had an OPS of .907 at age 40. In terms of home runs, Hank kept up his production through his age 39 season while Willie tailed off at age 36.
Back on topic, Brady is aging better than Satchel Paige. Imagine how badly Rodgers wants to deny Tom another Super Bowl! When you talk pure throwers, Rodgers almost stands alone among NFL QBs. Amazing he only has one Super Bowl championship.

Speaking of funny, Rodgers has a great sense of humor and holds a huge edge over Brady in smug, condescending commercials.

Lol, Brady had a 75 QBR with Evans, Gronk, Brown and Godwin getting shut down all game long, he was fine. The Bucs have played two of the top 3 pass defenses by DVOA in the playoffs thus far, Brady has faced the hardest opposition of any QB in the postseason.

I really thought SoSH totally lost its ability to be consistently funny about 5 years ago but Brady to the Bucs has unleashed a Renaissance.
It's insane.

I mean, how did Russ do against the Rams last week? I guess he's a Peyton Manning 2015 level QB too.

Peyton is legitimately funny, not "funny-for-an-athlete" funny.
The "golf match" with Tom, Peyton, Tiger and Phil, about a year ago, settled it for me that Peyton is a really spontaneously funny guy. I mean, his commercial material is written for him, (right?) but the golf match banter had to have been spontaneous. Tom, love ya, but you weren't funny that day. Of course, it didn't hurt that Peyton also had a better day striking the ball than Tom, so he could direct some of the humor at Tom.

Without a doubt Peyton was funnier in that match. Phil was also way better than Tiger. That match overall was pretty incredible to get those 4 together. Peyton is without a doubt a funnier person than Tom. Maybe Tom is all a controlled personality for his TB12 stuff, but I'd rather grab a beer with Peyton than Tom honestly. Tommy seems a good guy (see Brees' kid TD catch) but less dynamic than Peyton.

Don't get me wrong - Brees was worse by a long shot, truly a miserable end to his career, and for NO, an extra chunk of cap hell for next year no matter his decision

Ahem, "for most of the game". Through 3 quarters, Brady was 14 of 26 for 121 yards. His two TDs to that point were the 3 yard gimme following the near pick-6 in the 2nd quarter, and a 6 yarder following the Cook fumble in the 3rd quarter, drive starting at the NO 40. He fumbled and nearly cost Tampa the tying FG late in the 2nd. He was nearly picked 3 times, decidedly unimpressive until the 4th, when he really turned it on. Brees was absolutely awful, but his terrible performance does not lead to the reality that Brady played pretty poorly.

Thought this was a useful primer on the NFL’s five-step concussion protocol. Based on reports from yesterday’s practice, Mahomes must be in Step 3 or 4.

https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/30736432/patrick-mahomes-nfl-concussion-protocol-needs-happen-chiefs-star-play-bills
My guess is he’s already in Step 4. The Chiefs initially reported Mahomes as a full participant in yesterday’s practice, before correcting that because players in the concussion protocol are always deemed “limited” participants (though a person in Step 4 could participate fully in a non-contact practice).

https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/30748984/kansas-city-chiefs-patrick-mahomes-practices-limited-capacity-remains-concussion-protocol
The big thing is no one knows if Mahomes will be cleared by the independent neurologist, who doesn’t examine him until Step 5. Vegas seems to be straddling the issue — the Chiefs are a 3-point favorite, which is less than I’d expect if Mahomes were healthy but I have to think the Bills would e a slight favorite if gamblers expected Henne to start Sunday.

I can only imagine the outrage from KC fans if the independent neurologist doesn't clear Mahomes to play. But the fact that he was initially listed as a full participant on Wednesday is a good sign. I assume Buffalo is preparing for him to play (as they should).

And Buffalo should be prepared to put a lot pf pressure on him. If he isn't 100%, which I don't think he will be, it could be a problem for KC

AB out. That’s a big hit for Tampa. Liking GB more and more in this one.
Miller is really good though. They have plenty of weapons still. Evans, Godwin, Miller, Gronk, Brate, etc. They should be fine on offense. It's stopping Rodgers that will be their problem.

Yeah, I have a feeling they won't lose this game because of Antonio Brown not playing, but Miller doesn't really run the quick short routes the same way Brown does, which could impact the offense if the Packers' pass rush plays well. I think we'll see some Tyler Johnson.

Does tomorrow represent one of the best overall collections of WR talent in a final four in NFL history?

Davante Adams: 115 rec, 1,374 yds, 18 td (4x pro-bowler, all-pro)
Tyreek Hill: 87 rec, 1,276 yds, 15 td (5x pro-bowler, 3x all-pro)
Stefon Diggs: 127 rec, 1,535 yds, 8 td (pro-bowl, all-pro)
Chris Godwin: 65 rec, 840 yds, 7 td (pro-bowler, had 86 rec, 1,333 yds, 9 td last year)
Mike Evans: 70 rec, 1,006 yds, 13 td (3x pro-bowler, never has had a season with fewer than 1,000 yds)
Antonio Brown: not crazy stats this year but 7x pro-bowler, 4x all-pro (and I know he isn't playing on Sunday, but still)
Cole Beasley: 82 rec, 967 yds, 4 td

Add in Kelce (105 rec, 1,416 yds, 11 td, 6x pro-bowler, 3x all-pro) and Gronk (way past his prime but still a good receiver, 5x pro-bowler, 4x all-pro) and it's just an incredibly impressive group of pass-catchers playing this weekend.

DraftKing Sportsbook is offering +100 odds as an Odds Boost for "Greater than .5 TDs in NFL Conference Championship Games".

What am I missing? Isn't this an easy way to double my money?

EDIT: I missed the max bet being $50. Oh well, I'll take it.
