Klopp went for the latter. But none of these scream 'game changer' to me.Minamino for Firmino or Jones for Shaqiri seem like the two moves out there.

I’d rather he went for the other. Firmino is falling in love with the perfect touch pass lately. This game is screaming for someone to dip their shoulder and run by someone. If someone wins on a penalty, the post games will be something.Klopp went for the latter. But none of these scream 'game changer' to me.
Well maybe we’ll get 2:553 minutes of stoppage time? Bruno wasted 3 minutes alone making that last sub.
Worth noting that there's a 7-day trial period before you'll get charged for the first month, and the Amex offer ends on March 31, so sign up soon if you want all 3 months free.If you have an AMEX card, they are running a 3 month promotion for a $5 bill credit for Peacock. You have to add the deal to your card before signing up.
You had to say that huh?Looks like Palace are planning on a back 10 and hit on the counter against City classic. Has boring draw written all over it but really strange not to play Zaha if you’re hoping to hit on the counter
Edit: As i sent the post KDB hits a brilliant cross for a 1-0 hope it pulls Palace out of their shell
My post came across more harshly than I intended. When an English player scores a worldly their press goes nuts. Not a shot at Kane or Spurs fans at allLol what evidence do you have that it won't be talked about for months.
Spurs look like they've scored enough goals to avoid dropping points at the death. Yay.
There was absolutely nothing in his performances that suggested this was possible. He was a complete train wreck for about a year and a half. Laporte has been injured but he’s taken the chance and run with it.A brace and a clean sheet for Stones. Talk about a career resurrection to keep Laporte out of the team...
I wish the caption was “One of these ended in a goal” so I could reply that xG got it right.
In a season where Everton have beaten Chelsea, Spurs, Arsenal, Leicester, etc. was sitting there watching this with the Mike Dukakis SNL line in my head: "I can't believe [we] lost to [these guys]."Good of Newcastle to show up for a training session at the Emirates where the winner gets three points. When they were 2-0 down there was no sense of urgency, now it's 3-0 not much has changed.
Steve Bruce's job has to be on a shoogly peg.
I think Newcastle are no wins in nine (all competions), Everton must have played em before they realized how shit they are. They seem to know it now.In a season where Everton have beaten Chelsea, Spurs, Arsenal, Leicester, etc. was sitting there watching this with the Mike Dukakis SNL line in my head: "I can't believe [we] lost to [these guys]."
OTOH, nice to see that Arsenal turned it around by playing the kids. Every fan's wish.
Funnily enough, when an English player scores a worldy, the narrative is usually "If a Brazilian/Spanish/Portuguese player had done that, the press/internet would have gone nuts."My post came across more harshly than I intended. Did you miss Wayne Rooney’s entire career?Funnily enough, when an English player scores a worldy, the narrative is usually "If a Brazilian/Spanish/Portuguese player had done that, the press/internet would have gone nuts."
This might be my favorite post ever in this forum. He shinned it!
No, not from the moment I remember reading the season preview where an Everton fan picked the 16 year old Rooney as his one to watch, through THAT city goal, to DC and DC. The "English players don't get credit," mindset, btw, goes at least as far back as Matt Le Tissier.Did you miss Wayne Rooney’s entire career?
I viscerally loathe both Sam and those WBA kits.Good game this. West Ham score in the dying breath of the first half. West Brom restore parity at the start of the second half. Then Antonio puts the Hammers back in the lead. But West Brom are trying, they really are.
I have been ruminating soemwhat over these WBA away kits. And i can remember, if i cast my mind back to my distant past, the likes of Regis and Cunnngham strutting their stuff in a striped WBA away kit that was the same colours, but a simple two tone stripe. It never bothered me or made me think of another team.I viscerally loathe both Sam and those WBA kits.
But this is a better game than Pool-Utd was.
Thank you. That's inexplicable to me.Maddison just scored but will Var look at Vardy being offside on the goal kick? No they won't.
No offsides on a goal kick.I cannot believe Leicester's second goal wasn't ruled out by VAR for offsides. Vardy was literally three yards offside when the goal kick was made, and he challenged for the initial header that led to Leicester gaining possession and then springing forward for the goal.
Wow. That's my SFA refereeing qualification revoked, I guess. No offsides on a goal kick.
If you can deprive Douglas Ross of at least one of his jobs, i'd be cool with that.Wow. That's my SFA refereeing qualification revoked, I guess.
I completed my exams five or six years ago - I'm legit - although I haven't worked a game for more than a year, and I never really put myself forward to be a proper referee (attending the monthly seminars, showing up at training with the other Edinburgh-based refs on a weekly basis, etc.). If I'd have been younger when I started, I might have put myself out there more, but by the time I became qualified, I realised that I had only a few years before I'd become too old to get any decent-level assignments anyway. If you can deprive Douglas Ross of at least one of his jobs, i'd be cool with that.
Are you serious about becoming a ref? I'd love to come see you ref East Fife or a lower league team.
Thats amazing. And yeah the standard of refs in Scotland is not great. I've always thought, pressure aside, a ref's eye view of a match must be pretty interesting. And you get to see some of the young talent emerge.I completed my exams five or six years ago - I'm legit - although I haven't worked a game for more than a year, and I never really put myself forward to be a proper referee (attending the monthly seminars, showing up at training with the other Edinburgh-based refs on a weekly basis, etc.). At some point post-COVID, and after my kids are off to college and I have more free time, I might get back out there at the youth level and try to give something back, as I know I'm infinitely better that too many of the refs who pollute the youth circuit. But clearly I'll need to revise a bit before then...
Really? Wow. I didn't know he was that close to the ax.Frank getting the sack if the result holds?
At halftime, Rebecca Lowe stated that Chelsea’s Athletic reporter said he would get it either way.Frank getting the sack if the result holds?
