I'm not at my place tonight, but I recently moved and was going through some of my old cards and I have an Upper Deck Cam Neely autographed insert #31 of 50 and I cannot figure out what year it is. I'll try to post pic in few days.

Also found my 1966 Yaz :)

I got 2 boxes when you posted this. Ended up with auto's from:
Baron Browning, LB OSU/Broncos, 3rd round
Tyler Shelvin DL LSU/Bengals, 4th round
Charles Snowden, LB UVA/Bears, undrafted
Rashawn Slater, OL NW/Chargers, 1st round, #13

Meh. Hopefully Slater ends up a stud.
I finally opened a box:
Frank Darby, WR Arizona State/Falcons, 6th round
Ronnie Perkins, DE Oklahoma/Patriots, 3rd round - If I can't get a major it, I'm happy with someone from the Pats.

I've got a couple more boxes I'll open when I'm bored one night.

Perkins isn't a bad pull.

Answer to Shank's weekly quiz which was who are the only two players to win a WS MVP, All Star MVP, and season MVP?
Love these '57 rookies!
Now these are nice!

That likely is it. I have two boxes. One box is open and is just the cards, not the wrappers. The other is (poorly) sealed as you can tell from the pic. I'll put it up on eBay and see what happens.

Then to figure out what to do with my complete 1980s Topps sets, etc.

Those prepaid Foncards have gotta be worth a fortune.

This looks interesting. Thanks.

When I was a kid, mom threw out my entire 1972 collection of baseball cards because I "left them hanging around the house." I have no recollection of which cards I had. I mention it to her if I ever want to put a stop to an uncomfortable conversation.

Got this in the mail yesterday. Say whatever you want about Mo, but he's got one of the nicest signatures I've ever seen!

damn those went fast. Values still there (what I was stupidly contemplating at first, being ignorant and all that)

So all this card talk and SoSH box breaking has gotten me digging out my old storage boxes and going through my card collection. And because I am me, I am building a multi-sport database in Microsoft Access to catalogue what I've got. Seeing that I bought cards from '76 to '01, it will probably take close to a year to enter them.

Hit us with pics asap, we needs it!
Will do--it's a slow process as I am also creating the database at the same time.

I am currently working through a 5000+ count box that has WWE cards in it as when I worked there, we'd get boxes of WWE product and I would crack the box and store the loose cards in case people needed them. When my position was eliminated and I was cleaning out my office, someone asked "aren't you taking your cards?" so I did. There's some high-quality cards in there--autos, memorabilia cards, and my first 1 of 1 card (a Hornswoggle Cyan Printing Plate card from 2010 Tops Platinum).

Because I am a fan of all Boston Sports, it figures that some of my hits are from hated teams, like a Jeter autograph from 2001 Topps HD and a Magic Johnson autograph from the Bowman 48 set.

i entered my whole collection at the TCDB.com site. It’s not flawless (pain in the ass to download your collection in a sortable format), but moves pretty quick and glad to have it. Plus have had a ton of luck on the site trading out my doubles and finishing up some sets.

Bought two packs each of Hobby Topps Series 1 and 2, and I think I pulled a decent rare card--a "Shaped Sketch" card of Matt Chapman. I am trying to find details about it, but the Trading Card Database doesn't list the set in its 2021 Topps Baseball section.

This link should take you to all of the recently sold shaped sketch cards like that. Yadier Molina sold for $150.00 for example, definitely a nice hit.
