Hawks fortunate that they weren’t strip sacked on 3rd down. This is going to be a rock fight. Six would have been huge there but feels like every point will matter.

Whoa they actually gave up points? 23 allowed in close to 5.5 games. Holy shit.

Edit meanwhile PSU are dropping like flies. But playing great on offense after the first pick.
FG on the first drive, they actually trailed.

Noah Eagle's voice on Georgia-Auburn is incredibly distracting to me. Not only because he sounds a lot like his dad, but because the similarity reminds me of all of the nepotism in sports commentary hiring practices. (At least Cris Collinsworth's kid isn't involved in this broadcast...)
What, no NBA team hired you straight out of college to do play-by-play?

Isn't there less nepotism on the color side because those guys are mostly ex-players?

Not Lynn (or Ocean Side)
Big Ten referees love to give Penn State opponents touchdowns on that left pylon when the ball doesn’t cross the goal line. Not that I think there was much of a chance Iowa wouldn’t have punched it in from the 1, but come on.

That place gets oppressively loud and it would be super fun to be there if there wasn't a respiratory plague being aggressively spread in the shadow of a fucking children's ICU

Don’t love that decision by Ferentz

Then PSU false starts again. Is that like 8???
This kid was obviously not ready to play.. sucks because I don’t. Think this Iowa D is all that good.. they’ve played nobody all year and they have nobody else on their schedule all year..

I mean.. they were losing 17-3 before Clifford got hurt

Contact sport, not having your backup ready etc. I know you know this but we all root for teams that have had a key guy go out and the team implode after. It's just part of the game. Plus Iowa's taken advantage which is due to their players making plays not Clifford being out.

I mean, what?
They were losing 17-3 when he got hurt. Iowa has had the PSU D on the field now for three quarters of the game because Penn State’s backup isn’t nearly as good. Clifford was shredding this D.
