Congrats to the Braves and to CP and all the other Braves fans out there.

They are in Atlanta, but they will always be the Boston Braves to me.

The playoff team with the least amount of regular season wins by far, won the WS without even an elimination game.

Just have to get in. Teams will keep not playing for extra surplus over that magic line, etc.

Yeah great stuff CP. Go enjoy and even get handsy with yourself. We wont judge.

Actually, of course we will. But we will do so in P&G.

Think about these WS winning teams in a historical context the last few years...Giants, Royals, Cubs, Astros, Red Sox, Nationals, Dodgers, Braves. I love it. Congrats Conigliaro!

Dusty is so cool I almost wish the Astors had won. Perfect hire.

One of my grandfathers was a Braves fan dating back to their Boston days; some of my earliest childhood memories are of him falling asleep in front of the Braves game on TV every night. He subscribed to cable only to get them on TBS. He's been gone almost 15 years but I'm sure he's smiling somewhere. Congrats to Braves and Braves fans.

Congrats, Atlanta. Hopefully, another long-suffering team about 60 miles to the east can follow suit.

Congrats, CP and any other ATL fans!

There is plenty to hate about both of these franchises (please change your name to the Atlanta Hammers now) but Joc's pearls thing is maybe the best thing ever in baseball, now back to back titles for Joc The Pearl (with apologies to Earl), and he had a bunch of huge hits both years.

ATL was who I was rooting for once it got down to 4 teams, not that I had much of a choice. Crazy they won without Acuna and Soroka, never even faced an elimination game.
