How did Swayman see around that crowd in front?

Won't mention who flubbed the pass to Clifton on the breakout that led to it ;)

Thank god they signed McAvoy before he puts up the kind of offensive numbers that he’s going to put up this year.

When was the last time that they scored 4 goals in a game without a goal from Bergeron, Marchand, or Pastrnak?

4/23 of 2021. Although Bergy didn’t play. In a loss, to Buffalo of all teams: Kampfer, Ritchie, Miller, and Hall. Since then, until now, eight straight games with 4+ where at least one of those potted a goal.

Wow I assumed it was a lot longer ago than that. Thanks for doing the research.

This game ended up being fun to watch, but a good long run of it had me thinking about how frustrating this Bruins team might be this year. I'm glad Coyle got bonked in the head.

Caught up on the highlights. McAvoy looking much more aggressive w/r/t shooting the puck and attacking the net is so good to see. (Also LOL at him trucking Foligno to get to the loose puck for his first goal.) I feel like he spent his first few seasons making sure his defensive game was airtight, and now he's confident enough in that to cut loose in the o-zone now.

Always felt that Coyle had 2C upside. Last year definitely shook my faith in him, but he seems to be putting in the effort this year and is being rewarded for it.

Would like to see Swayman save both goals he let up. First one looked like he could've been positioned a bit better. The second was an unfortunate bounce, but he needs to have better rebound control. Felt like that puck was going to be in a dangerous area regardless of Clifton's skate.
