Absolutely ridiculous spot. He clearly got it.That is a lousy spot by the ref.
Man, every call goes to GB.
Three timeouts and you want to run the clock down anyway. Gashing them on every run. So bad.Why would the Browns stop running the ball.
Another awful Baker interception, but again the Packers got away with another blatant hold. Man these officials are in the bag for the Packers. This is a joke.
Every game for all time.Refs BIG TIME in the bag for GB in the 4th.
I agree with that, but I think the NFL media is pushing Rodgers.Kupp and/or Jonathan Taylor are better candidates than Rodgers.
Pulling Chubb off the field, unless it's specifically for a rest, is coaching malpractice. He's a weapon, even as a decoy. If he doesn't need a rest, he should be out there. It's absurd, Chubb with the ball in his hands can go for 20 yards, or more, at any point. Better to lose with Chubb on the field than with Hooper or Schwartz, that's for sure. Not only did Cleveland not run the ball, but I think Chubbwas off the field for that final sequence of downs.
Still, that was definitely pass interference. And NFL refs still definitely suck
How are they better than the QB with the 110 rating 33 TD/4 INT with the best record in the league?I agree with that, but I think the NFL media is pushing Rodgers.
This board has a clear anti Rodgers bias. But he's certainly the MVP of the season. How did the Pack do without him? They were a joke on offense when he was out with the 'Vid.How are they better than the QB with the 110 rating 33 TD/4 INT with the best record in the league?
Yeah I really despite Rodgers and I'm not super happy that the MVP is essentially just the "QB with the best numbers on a playoff team" award, but it's 2021. A pro-bowl level QB is by far the most valuable type of player in the league, most WRs are only as good as their QB and most RBs are only as good as their offensive line. Any QB with good numbers is more valuable than any other skill player putting up great (even record setting) numbers, and Rodgers' stats are a quite a bit more than good. He's not exactly winning the award by default. How are they better than the QB with the 110 rating 33 TD/4 INT with the best record in the league?
Rodgers line has been injured all season. Multiple players.Rodgers is great. It just seemed that the talking heads (e.g., NFL pregame show hosts and the guys calling the games) were just waiting for Rodgers to overtake Brady as the MVP favorite. Rodgers would be a deserving MVP if/when he wins. I don't like the narrative that he is out there doing this with no weapons. I mean he has a solid running game, the best WR in football, and probably the best pass blocking line in the league. I mean one will hear all the time how Brady plays on an All-Star team, but Rodgers is not that far behind when you factoring in how good his line is.
And just to answer the question, the Colts without Taylor would be pretty bad. The Bucs without Brady would be bad. Taking away a great player hurts any offense.
Yeah, you are probably right. I can't get over my personal dislike for the guy and how I have to listen to the media say how he is more talented/better than Brady. I am still a Brady guy in the Brady vs Rodgers debate, and I would take Brady again in the NFC Championship game over Rodgers.Rodgers line has been injured all season. Multiple players.
But I don't think anyone is saying he doesn't have weapons. The Pack have two excellent RBs, both of whom can catch passes, and the best WR in the game in Adams. Regardless, the Packers were absolutely horrendous on offense without Rodgers. With him, they are the best team in the NFL. I do not think this is that controversial. Rodgers does suck as a person, it seems, however.
I mean, it was one game with a QB who has never started an NFL game playing on short notice largely because Rodgers was “immunized”, the only other game Love played in involved Rodgers being terrible.if anything I’d think it’s a knock against an MVP to miss a game due to poor personal decision making and put his team in that spot. I don’t think we could fairly say any offense is terrible without it’s starter because it struggles with its backup QB in a pinch. This board has a clear anti Rodgers bias. But he's certainly the MVP of the season. How did the Pack do without him? They were a joke on offense when he was out with the 'Vid.
