has this ref always been old? I feel like he never changes. There may be some old footage of a game from the 30's and he is in it looking the same.

It was a borderline roughing call but same set of circumstances with an egregious roughing and it is nothing?
Plus, that Burrow hit was the opposite of incidental. The guy went out of his way to push Burrow while moving in the opposite direction.
It's not at all hard to understand. My point is that NFL analysts overall leave a lot to be desired, and Brees is no different. Why is this so hard to understand?

I watched a LOT of the NFL this year.
The refs are uniformly AWFUL. And they are often awful.
