Let’s go Wild (clap clap, clap clap clap).

Win a fucking playoff series for the first time in 7 years (clap clap, clap clap clap).

Lot of people sleeping on the Blues coming into the playoffs. Everyone waiting for Avs/Flames in the conference finals.
I think all four of the WC series are really awesome. I haven't watch enough hockey the last couple months, but life is slowing down a bit just in time for the fun stuff.

With the added context that his team was on the PK, losing 4-0 with a couple of minutes left in the game, it makes it so much worse. Completely bushleague from the Wild captain. DoPS only going to have themselves to blame if game 2 goes off the rails.

I retract my earlier statement on the Blues. Those picks are 3-13 in the playoffs since 2019. The devil came for the bill for Game 7.
The Blues led the league in goal differential above expected during the regular season, driven by an eye-popping (and also league-leading) 10.48% shooting percentage and 1.032 PDO in all situations. That's gonna come crashing back to earth against playoff defenses, especially given their sub-par possession metrics.

The engine’s running white hot tonight in Dallas. Also, Tkachuk and Klingberg went at it again.

They’re 7 minutes in. Only thing missing is a goal.

Between here and everywhere.
Tkachuk is quickly becoming a favorite. 100pt season. Wears the A. Plays physical and is willing to drop them.

He’s a better, tougher Marchand.

Don Koharski: “The was a good open ice hit like we used to see Scott Stevens do.”

I just thought it was funny because so many of Stevens’ classics wouldn’t come close to being permitted in today’s game.

So if the Oilers don't make it out of the first round, how long before McDavid demands a trade?

7 Years and basically no playoff success.

right here
yeah, it's basically everything unfortunately.
She has an odd cadence and her tone and inflection doesn't really fit with what's going on.
She can't keep up with the pace of the play so she'll say (player) into the zone then 2 things will happen and there's silence. Then she'll try to describe something else and by the time she's done 3 more things have happened. Someone will take a shot and it goes to 11 but there's no description and then silence and then she'll say another player's name.
At least when she's in the booth she's not gesticulating wildly. Ir maybe she is and we just can't see it.
