Didn't realize they had back to backs so soon.
4 wins in a row to start the season would be pretty awesome.

Would be nice to take Smith out as a lesson on don't do a spin move at the offensive blue line and an opposing player on top you with you while being the last Bruin's player before the goalie. Luckily he didn't get his pocket picked for a breakaway chance. No morning skate today so the lineup is unclear, other than presumably Swayman in net.
I wonder if they try to get Studnicka in as he's the only player yet to play. Craig Smith barely played last night so maybe he or Foligno comes out to give Studnicka an opportunity. Defensively, Grzelyck is on the clock. Last week Monty said he'd be surprised if Grzelyck didn't return by next weekend, so that would mean tonight or Thursday.
Stralman's also got some sort of visa situation going on today. I'm not sure of the whole procedure but as part of it he had to apply or file outside of the US and they were planning on doing that today. I'm not sure if once that's done he becomes eligible or if there's more governmental red tape to go through before getting his visa.
It would be nice to get Studnicka’s feet wet (and keep Lauko humming along too) but it’s even money between tonight’s game and Thursday.Montgomery doesn’t want another young player, Jack Studnicka, sitting too long. He noted the Bruins are soon to play their first three-in-four run of the season (Monday against Florida, Tuesday at Ottawa, Thursday against Anaheim). Studnicka is likely to dress in that stretch.
For me, Bruins’ main lineup questions are at RW. Do you play Studnicka on the back-to-back? How’s DeBrusk’s hand/wrist today? Would a night off help Smith? Hard to mess with a winning lineup but B2B with travel could be a spot to get Studnicka in.

At this point in the day, I suppose would be a surprise if Stralman (visa issues) played tonight, but Renouf didn’t disappoint in last night’s debut. Will get clarity in a few hours.
View: https://twitter.com/MarkDivver/status/1582474387202379776According to AHL transactions, Dan Renouf was returned to Providence today by Boston. Appears to point to Anton Stralman in lineup tonight in Ottawa
Studnicka weeps, Smith simmers. But I like those lines.Lauko in for Smith. Stralman in for Renouf.
Zacha - Bergeron - DeBrusk
Hall - Krejci - Pastrnak
Frederic - Coyle - Greer
Foligno - Nosek - Lauko
Lindholm - Reilly
Forbort - Clifton
Zboril - Stralman
Swayman
TV or radio?I'm listening to the Ottawa broadcast and the color guy, whoever he is, was arguing how the opalyer was just trying to gain position so the goal should count. My advice to that young man is that if being an NHL commentator does not work out that I hear OAN has an opening.
At least for me the TV guys had one guy saying "you'll call me a goalie hugger, but that shouldn't count"...TV or radio?
Yeah, that former Flames backup goalie Jamie MacLennan. He can be a little of a pan Canadian homer, but he’s also a pretty committed member of the Goalie Union. At least for me the TV guys had one guy saying "you'll call me a goalie hugger, but that shouldn't count"...
