Weeks 9 to 18, Trev had two INTs. He has three in the first quarter of his first playoff game.

Trevor has turned into Dak. At not a great time.

What is most picks thrown in the first quarter in a playoff game? 3 has to be top 5.

I was 9 years old when I heard Michaels ask, "Do you believe in miracles?" I'll be 53 in two months. That seems crazy.

LAC defensive gameplan is exactly what you should run vs. SF. Take away the short/intermediate middle and force them to beat you deep outside before the rush gets home. Puzzling SEA with their big corners didn't try exactly that. I think Purdy completed about 1 pass 10+ yards downfield outside the numbers.

This weekend is less than super so far.
It was always set up for this possibility. Sometimes you have the 9 win teams that get in because they are surging after a bad start. Like the Lions could have been. Then other times you just have mediocre teams that win tie breakers and get in. Any given Sunday and all that but on paper there are reasonably heavy favorites this weekend.

Edit — I guess the Jags were actually favored.

This game looked like the best matchup of the weekend. Two smallest spreads were this one and Giants-Vikings, but unlike that game, this one featured two teams that seemed to be gelling down the stretch.

Edit: I guess Cowboys-Bucs is predicted to be close too. Which I don’t really get.

Lot of things Staley stinks at as a coach, but great job completely reworking what they were doing from the first JAX/LAC game where Lawrence was great. Ton of disguise, and Lawrence is having a lot of trouble figuring out who is going where. Also, just good coverage too, guys are not open.

Yes. Why?

I only cuaght the tail end of the 49ers game after sundown and am catching up with highlights.
You could have easily flown to Europe so sundown would have been before the game started. That’s on you.

Could be a tough weekend for Florida Footy. Need Tommy to save the day and kill some Cowboys.

People talking about Purdy being replaced by Lance after carving up Seattle in a massive performance in his first playoff game.

Meanwhile, Trevor hucks four INTs in 24 minutes. In his first playoff game.

Correct.

Sometimes you get a 9-7 Giants team with a horseshoe wedged up their collective asses and they win a SB, sometimes you get two stiff 9-8 teams that really have zero chance to win and are just cannon fodder for their opponent.

We'll see how the 9-8 Dolphins and 8-9 Bucs make out tomorrow; for the most part, you are who your record says you are.
