LAC were up 27-0 and had a 3rd and.1 and they ran a jet sweet with the 8th string WR. And it was fumbled.

And so began the comeback.

That was an incredible game to witness.

Staley is not a good coach, though I do have a suspicion Herbert is destined to underperform his talent a few more times in his career.

HOLY SHIT ... I turned the game off and they started coming back. My wife reminded me we did the same thing in the Atlanta Super Bowl.

And to think I turned this game off for about a quarter, annoyed that both Saturday games were mostly lopsided affairs.
To be fair, I suppose this would have been lopsided if not for Lawrence throwing throwing the Chargers the ball constantly in the first half.

Can't get over these two games. First was close through first half and blowout in the second. This game was blowout first half and close game second half! Still can't believe Chargers choked away that lead but I like the Jags and Lawrence.

Bosa killed his team with the immature antics
Another take: Refs completely changed the game by not calling penalties against the Jags leading to an offensive tsunami. But thank god they called that offsides on Bosa which led to a touchdown!

refs were bad but the guys been in the league way too long to be that stupid. Cost his team 30 yards and ultimately was the reason jags got the 2 pt conversion

looked like a roided up maniac

note: the offsides was close but it did look like he was in the neutral zone. If he plays smarter and more composed, bolts win.

maybe he’s a genius and he was sabotaging staley for the greater good

That is some kind of take. Anytime you can blame the refs when a team chokes away a 27 point lead, you gotta do it.

I’m interested to know how the refs were involved in that 3rd and 1?

Only bad thing about today's games is that only one Bosa brother was sent home in humiliating fashion.

I know Belichick has won umpteen Super Bowls, but Bobby Ross won a natty at Georgia Tech of all places, managed to stave off the Chargers' choking dog ways long enough to get them to a Super Bowl, and just for a cherry on the sundae of unlikelihood, made the playoffs twice with the Lions.

A lot of non-calls that favored the Chargers in the first half. (Second half too.)

Refs were pretty bad overall, but didn't seem to be favoring either team.

I'm fairly certain that after taking a 27-0 lead Ekeler had a total of 6 touches and a few additional targets that were incomplete. Granted he didn't do much with those touches but short of turning it over I'm fairly certain you could have handed it off to him 15 times and won fairly easily.
