If you let a guy shoot like he’s in an open gym and don’t bother contesting, he’s going to hit shots. It’s not some weird fluke.

C's needed a big game from Grant Williams tonite, and he's done nothing but foul and complain.

Al hasn't been great, either.

Let's hope some reinforcements show up tomorrow nite in Miami. Nice of the NBA to give the Heat tonite off.

Not having TL hurts against this team because they overplay hard on D and we don’t have his lob threat. Instead we’re just playing iso and playing into the aggressiveness.

C's could not have come out much flatter tonite, and they paid the price.

Why do they have trouble with this Magic team? It's weird.
They're missing Rob, Brogdon, and Smart. And I think a lot of their roleplayers struggle with the Magic's size and athleticism. Orlando has also taken 10 more trips to the free throw line

Are the Magic, with a full roster, terrible?
They are pre-good. Talented tryhards who need a roster-balancing/consolidating trade or two but could just as easily be a team that never becomes good without the right management and development.

A poster in another thread has repeatedly suggested Wendell Carter Jr. as a Horford replacement, and it would probably be a seamless transition.

It was the same deal with the Pistons last season. The C's are vulnerable against young, energetic teams they're favored to beat.
This, plus Issac’s return. It’s as close Orlando will get to a home playoff game.
